Turnkey have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the UK property market.
Our background started in HMO rentals which are complex and have many more compliance requirements than a single family home let. Beginning in HMOs gave us a solid foundation in one of the more complex parts of residential lettings.
HMOs present an attractive investment option, offering higher profits from rental yields than traditional BTL investments. As tenants in HMO properties tend to move out at different times, void periods are minimized and income almost continuously generated – making this ideal for some investors. While viable for many situations, it’s important to keep in mind that no single property type fits all; a combination of various asset types may be more beneficial depending on the investor’s goals.
As our knowledge of the property market grew, it became apparent that there were some incredible investments out there which didn’t fit with our needs – but could be an ideal match for other investors. Rather than let these opportunities pass us by, we recognised a need and ventured into becoming professional property sourcers.
Because we started from the ground we have experienced all highs and lows of running rental properties and we understand everything from finding the right property in the right area and knowing it will rent out, to legal compliance expected of UK landlords, to finding and managing tenants, to managing maintenance.
